After outbreak of the World War I visited in 12.1914 St Borromeo Sister's convent and college in Staniątki.
Russians — then in the offensive — set up a local command of military staff.
The monastery was bombarded by Austrian troops — perished together with one other Jesuit, Fr Adalbert Płukasz.
