details of death

During World War I drafted prob. in 08.1915 (1914?) — as the German citizen — into German army (prob. 11th Army).

Perished during Serbian warfare campaign — prob. as a result of Monastir campaign in 1916, when Entante allies (mainly French with Russian support) achieved small successes against Axis powers (mainly Germans and Bulgarians) capturing on 19.11.1916 Bitola town.

The offensive ended on 12.11.1916.

German and Bulgarian troops, as they were withdrawing, strengthened just a few kilometers to the north–east of Bitola.

From there, Bitola was bombarded almost daily (until 09.1918).
