Arrested on 29.01.1939 by the Commie‐Nazi UB, the Polish unit of the Russian genocidal KGB, together with two sisters.
Inmate in the prison at Rakowiecka Str. in Mokotów in Warsaw.
Interrogated many times —„there were frequent and cruel interrogations during the day and at night in prison” among others as a witness in the case of Fr John Paul Grajnert, accused of „cooperation with the Vatican” and espionage.
Formally prob. accused of „currency crimes” — prob. „for receiving receive dollars for safekeeping from Fr Grajnert”.
After 9 months — prob. at the end of 10.1953 — released.
She returned to a religious house in Michelin, where falling ill — in prison, „the water allowance [was] very modest, probably one liter per person per day; they slept on a pallet, [with only] a thin blanket for cover, often wrenched from sleep for night interrogations”— did not regain health and died.

Warsaw (Mokotów): Prison and detention centre in Warsaw on Rakowiecka Str. Used by Germans during German occupation 1939‐1945 to held thousands of Poles. In 1945‐1956 thousands of Polish independence activists were held there by the Polish Commie‐Nazi branch of Russian NKVD/KGB police. Hundreds of Poles were executed.
