details of death

Probably arrested (in 1931?) and deported.

Lived in Omsk and despite being chronically ill — suffered from lung disease — was a resident at local church.

There perished — after church was closed by the Russians and turned into a museum and local parish priest, Fr Michael Bugienis, arrested.

descriptions

Forced exile: One of the standard Russian forms of repression. The prisoners were usually taken to a small village in the middle of nowhere — somewhere in Siberia, in far north or far east — dropped out of the train carriage or a cart, left out without means of subsistence or place to live.
