Wola Krecowska
Excerpt from Julia Szyszko's memoirs about the murder of Ukrainians in Wola Krecowska by soldiers of the Polish Army:
„The army was still attacking and shooting […]
One night, Iwan Gbur came to our house. He was cold because he was carting wood, he wanted to warm up. [Soldiers] came and told him to show the way, but they shot him in the yard. They arrested Ivan Gbur, Stepan's son. His brother‑in‑law went to look for him in the UB, but he was told there that he was not there. He asked the military, but they also said that he was not there. And so he is not there to this day”.
