Teratyn
Fragment of the biography of a Ukrainian priest Wasyl Martysz murdered by members of the NSZ unit under the command of Zbigniew Góra 'Jacek':
„On that day, only 71‑year‑old priest Bazyli and his youngest daughter Helena Guzowa with their four‑year‑old daughter stayed at their home in Teratyn […] […] to the house of Fr Martysz, people burst through the window shouting:
— «Where is the gold, money!»,
And then started beating the priest. When he lost consciousness, they poured water over his body and continued beating. Then they pushed the crying child into the attic, and then they severely beat the priest's daughter. Her father was killed with a pistol shot after four hours of torture”.
