Fragment of the report of the interrogation of Jan Toth 'Mewa' by the investigating officer of WUBP in Rzeszów about the murder of 3 Ukrainians by the NZW unit under his command:
„The second time it was in Ożanna, Łańcut poviat. We were shot [there] by the Ukrainians, opened fire after them and killed 3 Ukrainians”.

Excerpt from the report „Wisti z terenu” from District II of the Zakerzonya Region for May 1 — June 5, 1945:
„[] May [1945] in the village of Ożanna, Poles killed three men and one woman:
Berezka Ołeksij, aged 45;
Berezka Iwan, aged 18;
Kawa Prokop, aged 30;
Kril Kateryna, aged 30.
The perpetrators of this shameful crime were the Poles: Harnecki Julian, Szwed Piotr, Dziwota Michał […] ”
