Niewistka
Fragment of a field report by an unknown OUN reporter about the murder of Poles from the village of Niewistka in the local Ukrainian, Mykhaila Fedorczak:
„On the night of April 23 to April 24, 1945 in Niewistka, a local Pole, Michał Nog with two unknown [men], stucked cards on the houses of local Ukrainians, Mychajlo and Anton Fedorczak, Anton and Iwan Kicom and Stefan Sawczak, so they could relocate from Niewistka to the other side of the San river within three days. On the night of April 24 to April 25, 6 armed Poles, came to the houses of the above–mentioned two Fedorczaks, conducted searchs, took the two farmers and led them towards the San river. But they escaped on the way. In the morning of April 25, the same Poles again came to these two houses, caught the two farmers, and led them out to the forest. Mykhailo Fedorczak was shot and the other one escaped to Dynów”.
