Excerpt from the situation report of Lieutenant Longin Kołarz, the head of the WUBP in Rzeszów, of March 10, 1945 on the murder of 3 Ukrainians in Mirocin by unknown bandits from the Polish village:
„On March 2, 1945 at 7 p.m. Michał's house of Ukrainian nationality in Mirocin, Przeworsk commune, and shot him. Then the same perpetrators attacked Jarosz Józef's house in Mirocin, shot him without robbing him. Then they went to the house of the tailor Józef of Ukrainian nationality, shot Krawiec and his wife Anna, robbed one pair of women's shoes and headed in an unknown direction”.
