Polish translation of excerpt from Mikołaj Andrusiak's memoir „Krywawyj teror polśkych bojiwok na Nadsianni” about the murders of Ukrainians in Kurzyna Mała, included in the collection „Jarosław and Beyond the San river regions” from 1986:
„The victims in this village were:
Łew Ryczko,
Josyf Martyna — tortured,
Dmytro Pyrich with his wife — longtime teachers in Kurzyna Middle.
They were brutally tortured: they were led into the forest, their skin was peeled off and hanged on it”.
