Fragment of Nadija Dorożiwska's memoirs about the murder of 10 Ukrainians in the village of Korchów by partisan units identifying themselves with the Republic of Poland:
I remember well the winter night of 1945, when by a miracle and by God's grace my father remained alive. After separate killings by Poles supported by Soviet liberators, a night attack was prepared and carried out, as a result of which 10 men were killed  […] The funeral was terrible: the carts carried 10 coffins, all were buried in the brother's grave  […] The victims were father and son Łapaków, Musycz and others”.
