Fragment of a field report by the SB‑OUN clerk of the 'Beskid' district, Stepan Golasz 'Mar', about the murder of a Ukrainian by Polish Army soldiers in Sukowaty:
„[On] July 12, 1946, the Polish Army made a jump to the northern slopes of Chryszczata. This jump did not bring them any results. Returning from Chryszczata, the Polish Army jumped off the church in the village of Kamionki, Lesko poviat, where three of our shooters were sleeping, who were hiding from the rain. Two of them managed to escape, and the third, friend 'Damian', killed two Poles by shooting away from the enemy. two he injured, and he himself, wounded, shot himself. His body was taken by the Polish Army and burned in the village of Mchawa. The church [in Kamionki] burned down”.
