Excerpt from the situational report of the OUN clerk Stepan Golasz 'Mar' from the 'Beskid' district about the murder of Polish Army soldiers in a Ukrainian in Darów:
„On February 2, 1946, a Polish army unit attacked the village of Darów in the Sanok district. They found 2 of our liaison officers in the village, but they shot themselves off and escaped into the forest. The soldiers ravaged the house in a bandit manner, beat all the inhabitants, broke the hostess's hands and shot her with a machine gun”.
