Excerpt from the report of the head of PUBP in Chełm regarding the murder of a Ukrainian woman, Anna Iwaniek:
„On April 6, 1945 this year. [in] the Cyców colony, Iwaniek Anna was killed, an inhabitant of the colony who escaped during the attack by unknown armed individuals”.

Excerpt from the report of the head of PUBP in Chełm regarding the murder of a Ukrainian, Volodymyr Duk:
„On 2.5.1945 at 11.00 p.m. in the Cyców colony and in the Cyców commune, Chełm poviat, a murder combined with robbery was committed in the following circumstances: Duk Michał, resident of the Cyców 1 colony, of Ukrainian nationality, noticing about 10 individuals approaching his pen, he hid in the field, from which he heard shots from a rifle. After an hour had passed, the bandits left the farm, taking horses, cows and various household items, and headed towards the village of Kulik. Then Duk left his hideout and went to the apartment, where he found the dead son of Włodzimierz, a demolished and completely robbed apartment ”.
