1945 May 4, Sanok — Fragment of the notification of the commander of the KPMO in Sanok to the district staroste about the murder of a Ukrainian in Przybyszów:
„On April 25, 1945, around 20:00 3 unknown individuals came to the apartment of Haratan Theodore, an inhabitant of the Przybyszów group, armed with automatic machines, revolvers and grenades, and after a short conversation they began to horribly torture the mentioned man and his wife Eve, whom they led out to the field and hanged on a cherry tree, and Haratan was left behind beaten and bound in an apartment.
