On January 8, 1945 the same militia [from Borownica] attacked the village of Łomna. It burned down Andriy Gergil's house and beat the whole [his] family until they passed out. Several dozen people, women, children, the wife and daughter of the local priest Hamiwka, were massacred in a similar manner, with their heads smashed. During this raid they killed 3 young boys: Mykhail Kadubci, Ivan Franyk and one more. In addition, they shot one deaf old man. Having robbed the village, they left for Bircza.
