Hroszówka
Excerpt from the memoirs of Yevhen Czubiński about the murder of Ukrainians in Hroszówka by soldiers of the Polish Army:
„Many innocent people died from Hroszówka. In his own basement, Mykhailo Bahan, 65, was shot dead; in the field in front of the forest, Marija Sosnicka; Iwan (Mykhailo?) Kondzioła fled to the forest with a cow and was also killed. The 14‑year‑old daughter of Andrija Bycia was also killed. All this took place in 1945.
Then the following were killed: Josyp Badyrka, Mychajło Czubyński, both from the hamlet of Klanczyska, and with them Hryhorij Czubyński”.

Excerpt from the memoirs of Yevhen Czubiński about the murder of Ukrainians in Hroszówka by soldiers of the Polish Army:
„In 1946, the Polish Army went from the side of Ulucz looking for partisans. Our boys started to defend themselves near Hroszówka, and since there was only a shit, they could not stand it and went to the forest. Instead of following them into the forest, the army began to bully people in the village and burn houses. Half of the village burned down. They took Fedor Szul with them, naked, wrapped with barbed wire from head to toe, they beat and rolled on the way until he gave up his ghost. On that day, Mykola Dzian died while escaping to the forest. Ivan Pankiw died in the village. They took Władek Szul and Łewkowycz, Mychajło Szczupak with his father Mykoła, Mychajło Wyszański and others alive to Bircza. They kept them in Bircza for 4 days and beat them all the time. They released them alive, but many of them died shortly after they returned”.
