The UPA hanged a 21‑year‑old Polish woman, Katarzyna Senczyszyn. „On September 9, in Młodowice, the Bandera followers hanged a Polish woman, Katarzyna Senczyszyn, on a roadside willow for her contacts with soldiers of the Polish Border Security WOP from Stanisławczyk. According to Anna Hryniszyn (deceased in 2007), K. Senczyszyn and two friends, returning from a party to Malhowice, found out that the Banderites were looking for them under the accusation of cooperation with the Polish Army. A. Hryniszyn hid in a shed with a firewood. On the next day, she and her friend fled to Przemyśl, where they settled permanently. K. Senczyszyn was caught by the Bandera followers and hanged”.
