Żorniska
In December 1943, Dziendzielak, the miller's son–in–law, was called from an apartment at the mill in Żorniska. His body was not found until March 1944, when the snow was thawing […] Dziendzielak was only in underpants, without shoes and a shirt. His bones were broken. There were splinters embedded behind his fingernails, and a strip of skin cut from his tailbone to his neck along his spine, wound on a stick. His face was completely disfigured, hard to recognize.

Żorniska
The Banderites murdered 14 Poles, including the 10–person Podsiadło family (41‑year‑old Józef Podsiadło, his 44‑year‑old wife Agata and their 8 children: seven daughters aged 2–17 and a 19‑year‑old son), and kidnapped 4 people (including young girls), whose traces have been lost.
