general info

In the Forstaufsichtsamt – Lviv area, on January 25–28, over 100 murders were committed. In the area of the Rawa Ruska – Mosty Wielkie forest inspectorate  […] , between January 26 and 28, 78 people from forestry staff (foresters, gamekeepers) died at the hands of Ukrainian criminals (including in Wólka Mazowiecka, Dzibułki, Sądowa Wisznia, forest workers) and their family members. In the area of Żółkiew – on January 27 – all those present in their homes or workplaces: foresters, gamekeepers and forest workers were murdered. The slogan to carry out the attacks was a fire started in the buildings of Polish families in Wiazowa, a village located 6–8 km from Żółkiew. The perpetrators of the murders were members of the Ukrainian Volhynian bands (Banderites) who had arrived a month ago in the Zhovkva area.
