In the suburbs, the Ukrainians murdered a Polish family of three and their 17‑year‑old son from the village of Nakwasza, county Beards; my father, Buczkowski, 55, was nailed to the wall, like Christ on the cross.

After the entry of the Soviet army, the grave with 17 young Poles was unearthed. „They all had cut ears and tongues, cut heels, hands tied behind their torso with barbed wire. They were beaten and tortured, but most of them died from choking with” earth.
