Fragment of the interrogation report of Vasyl Tokarczuk about the murder of Stepan Tokarczuk in Busówno by Poles–bandits or members of the Polish armed unit:
„On April 18, 1945 at 7 am I went with my brother Stefan to my neighbor. Returning to their home at 8 o'clock, coming to their yard, four strangers with pistols jumped up to us, shouted:
— «Hands up!».
I raised my hands and my brother turned back and started to run away. At that time, a shot was fired. After a while, two came and said that one had already been killed […] When they took everything from the apartment, they ordered me to get up and take the grain to the cart. We brought out two meters of rye. They ordered to come back to the apartment and take my brother who was lying in the yard with them”.
