Zamoście
The SB militia of OUN Kupiak murdered Chochuła Maria (Ukrainian) and Szulga Michał; The fate of the remaining Poles from this village is unknown. „At the same time (ie in June 1944 – comment by: Stanislaus Żurek). Kupiak sent other bandits to the village of Zamościce, where they arrested Michał Szulga, the commander of the Cops' Fire Brigade, and Maria Chochuła, who they suspected of communicating with the partisans. Following Kupiak's order, they killed Szulga on the spot, because he resisted them, and they brought Chochuła to the village of Połoniczna, where she died as a result of inhuman torture”.
