1943, the suburbs of the small borderland town of Zalosce, former province Tarnopolskie. Several members of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army enter a small farm, murder (fight) my uncle, late Grandma, his wife, their 3–month–old child, two daughters aged 14 and 15 are raped and cut with knives, my Grandma watches everything hidden in the woodshed (11 years old), then the UPA heroes take a heroic fight with the livestock they take captive. Yeah, the UPA fought.

In the village of Bałaszówka, the Olejów commune, county The UPA kidnapped and murdered 2 Poles during their journey from Olejów to Załozce; They were: a forester J. Krzywy and a gamekeeper named Michalicki (Hieronim?), the body was not found.
