Excerpt from the memories of Petro Szkoła about the murder of Ukrainians from Wyżłowo by the authorities of the Republic of Poland:
„There was still a gymnasium in Belz, where Ukrainian children also studied. In February [1945], three girls from Wyżłów noticed that their village was on fire, so they ran there, but on the way Poles raped and murdered Hala Kraweć and Hala Stefanyszyn”.
