The UPA murdered 12 Poles (11 from the Hallerczyn colony), including Fr Michał Duszeńka and robbed and burnt the presbytery. „On the night of September 3, 1943. Rzeszowianka, the commune of Ponikowiec, county Brody. They were murdered by a Ukrainian gang of peasants from the village of Wysocko and other nearby Roman Catholic priests. Fr Michał Duszenko. The perpetrators arrived in the” wagon.

In Wysock and Kadłubiska the Gestapo arrested 19 Ukrainians. „the individuals pleaded guilty, claiming that they had murdered Fr Greek–Catholic from Wysocka Mikołaj Harwaniek. After revising Fr The chalice from the church that Father Duszeńko kept at home and the cassock” were found.

St. in memory of Fr Duszeńko received seven dum–dum caliber bullets, which the Ukrainian police used to liquidate the ghetto, and several stabs. He did not die in superhuman torments only two hours after committing the crime. Other victims of the robbery were also murdered with true Eastern cruelty with knives. The tiny baby in the cradle was not spared, nor was the pregnant woman whose fetus had been torn from her entrails.
