Wróblik Szlachecki

Fragment of a report by an informant 'Janusz' concerning the murder of 5 Ukrainians from Wróblik Szlachecki by members of Marian Skiba's gang:
In 1945, at the station in Wróblik Szlachecki, two horse carriages were unhooked with people on board, who were then murdered and thrown into the water. I will mention that the people murdered were Ukrainians, who at that time were boarding at the station to go east, and at that time, Skiba Marian's gang detached two wagons from the transport with horses and cows, which they then sold, while the people who were in the wagons were murdered and thrown into the water. I was an eyewitness and I saw 5 murdered people, whom I was hiding, because at that time I was on the commission dealing the murdered people  […] We buried the murdered on the banks of the Tabor river in Wróblik Szlachecki. I mention that the above–mentioned people were shot in the back of the head, because I watched and saw that the shots were at the back of the head”.

Fragment of the report from the interrogation of witness Jan Pelczar concerning the murder of four Ukrainians from Wróblik Szlachecki by members of Marian Skiba's gang:
I know that Skiba Marian's gang robbed a train transport in Rymanów, where two horse carriages with four Ukrainians, who transported them, were unfastened. These Ukrainians were shot on bank the Tabor River by 'Negus'  […] and Szajna Czesław or his cousin Stanisław”.
