Wołosów
The UPA massacred about 60 Poles, including a family of 7 and 5 children burnt alive. „I am a granddaughter of repatriates from Wołosowo (Stanisławów Province). That is why the subject of Borderlands is so close to me. My grandparents managed to escape the murders in Wołosowo, but part of the family still stayed there and several people were murdered by the Banderites, among others Błondek Kazimierz with his father on 03.44. in Wołosowo (they are on the list of victims). Kazimierz Błondek was my grandmother's nephew. His father is Marcin Błondek. I know from my grandmother's stories that 1944. in Wołosowo, the Bandera followers brutally killed her brother Julian Woś, he was a miller in Wołosowo. Grandparents are no longer alive, but they, their experiences and unpleasant memories and our relatives murdered in the Borderlands will always remain in our memory. Please add to the list of those murdered by the UPA: Blondek Marcin (father of Kazimierz Błondek) killed on 03.1944. in Wołosowo, commune Przerośl area Nadwórna Province Stanisławów; Julian Woś (miller from Wołosów) s/o Wojciech and Zofia (née Baran). Woś, he was about 35 years old, killed in 1944. in Wołosowo, commune Przerośl area Nadwórna Province Stanisławów”.
