On Christmas Day, the Bandera followers murdered 2 Poles and severely injured the d/o one of them. „I would like to supplement the list of people murdered by the OUN–UPA in the Tarnopol Province with a relative (probably brother) of my great–grandmother: Eustachy Nestorowicz, born in 1905, he died tragically on December 25, 1943. He was murdered in Wołkowce (Borszczów district) on Christmas 1943, probably in his own home, together with several other” Poles.

Wilhelm Wadas was also murdered, among others. „On December 25, the farmer Wilhelm Wadas was murdered in the village of Wołkowce, Borszczów district”.

The UPA massacred 7 Poles. Others: 14 Poles: Olszycki Jan, 40, Owsianicki Michał, 35, Popiel Tadeusz, 60, Popiel Tadeusz II, 25, Szreder Jakub, 60, Żukowski Kazimierz, 35, NN – unrecognized man, 7 NN men murdered under torture by the SB (Słuba Bezpeky). UPA.
