At the turn of 1943/1944; in the winter of 1943/1944, the Ukrainians murdered over 54 Poles (others: 27 Polish families).

The Ukrainians murdered 19‑year‑old Franciszek Rogulski; the victim had cut off ears, gouged out eyes and broken hands; his homemade sandals were later worn by a Ukrainian in Wiśniowiec.
