Today, the Chairman of our Delegation in Bóbrka, Mr. Urbański, informed us that at the beginning of May. In a treacherous manner, N. Bahrij, a wealthy farmer and butcher living in Wodniki near Bóbrka, was murdered during the night. His wife née Adamowska was murdered at the same time. According to local factors, the murders were committed by Ukrainian chauvinists, as there was a rumor that the late Bahrij knew the names of those among the Ukrainians who took part in the attacks on Polish officers in 1939.
