In an ambush in the forest, the UPA murdered 55‑year‑old Paulina Chorążyczewska, inflicting her many stab wounds.

In the Wicze colony, they stripped Józef Bober and Paulina Chorążyczewska, gently cut open the bellies, they stretched the strings for the intestines, they tied them to one pine tree and made them dance.

After the fall of Huta Stepańska, part of the population returned to the woods near Wilczy, they made shelters there and they camped there. In the fall, they were tracked down and murdered, several dozen people died, most of them from the Chorążyczewski family.
