During Holy Week, the Banderites and Ukrainian peasants murdered the Polish population in the villages of: Limanowa – 46 Poles. Majdan – 10 Poles, Pasieczna – 107 Poles, Rafajłowa – 20 Poles, Weleśnica – 17 Poles.

An elderly woman named Paweł was burnt alive in the building. In that village, a second woman named Maria Ondrejczuk was tied to two horses by the Bandera followers and tore her in half, and a woman named Muszyńska, who was captured in a nearby forest, was tortured by tearing out her eyes and cutting her breasts live, and then murdered.
