general info

Ujście Jezuickie

Several inhabitants were murdered in the German–Ukrainian pacification: „On the other side of the Vistula, the units of the «Wacław» group under the leadership of Józef Niejadlik attacked the enemy, inflicting heavy losses on him and harassing him with fire throughout the night. At dawn, the Ukrainians, under the command of a German officer, attacked the partisans and, burning the village of Ujście Jezuickie and murdering several of its inhabitants, withdrew from the battlefield. Our own losses amounted to 34 murdered men, women and children, including four Home Army AK soldiers, residents of Opatowiec and Ujście Jezuicki ”. .
