In early July: „The Ukrainians placed a large oak cross on a mound that had been made earlier. at the ceremony of blessing the mound and the cross in honor of «achieved and future victory», celebrated by four Orthodox clergymen, in which the UPA, young people with their teacher and the local Ukrainian population participated, firearms, axes and pitchforks, etc., tools were sacrificed, and one he agitated the popes to exterminate «Lachs» and the communists”.

Weapons and tools were used to slaughter Poles on July 12. Even 15‑year‑old girls were mutilated, tortured and raped. At least 70 Poles were killed.
