Fragment of the report of prepared by 'Czumak', an employee of the SB‑OUN from the District II of the Zakerzonya Region, on the Polish Army terror as a result of which the soldiers murdered one Ukrainian from Tuszków:
On April 24, 1946, at 6 a.m., WOP from Bełz, numbering 70 people, carried out a jump to the village of Oserdów. This day St Michael in the Latin rite was celebrated and there was an indulgence day in Belz. There was a lot of fun in the city. WOP and MO played the whole day, drank, and finally everyone got drunk. They became very heroic under the influence of alcohol. They sat down to one car, and the rest went on foot towards Oserdów via Tuszków  […]
On the same day, Paweł Maluca from Oserdów, a tailor, about [illegible], went to Tuszków to get his jacket. He was one of the poorest people in the village, he had no family  […] . The drunken WOP crowd attacked the old man and started beating him terribly. Earlier, they shot him, and when he was wounded, they started to torture further, in a well–known fashion over him: they cruelly mutilated his head so that only by clothes you could recognize the corpse. When the wounded and in addition beaten old man could not move but grunted, civilized barbarians continued to torment him and massacred him. Considering him to be a «Bandera scout», they inquired about such things that the unfortunate man had never heard of. When he could not answer these questions, they began to break the bones of his hands, then bayonets stabbed his entire body blue with blows, quite sore  […] There was nothing else to do but to give the unfortunate man one last favor: shoot him. They did so too  […]
Testified: a resident of the village
Interrogated: 'Czumak'
