In January 1943, Ukrainian policemen with the Germans arrested about 250–300 Poles in Stary Sambor, Felsztyn, Chyrów and Turka. At the beginning of February, they were taken to Lviv, and from there in a transport of about 800 people, to the concentration camp at Majdanek, which survived several people.

Recently, there have been numerous gang attacks on the Polish population living in the area of the former Polish Welfare Committee in Sambor. The largest number of such attacks took place in the Delegation in Turka n / Stryjem. For a thorough investigation of these incidents, I went in the company of Mr. Wasung, the clerk of the organization of the Polish Welfare Committee in Drohobycz on 24 May. to Turki n / Str., where the following status of the case was established on the spot. In August this year. a gang, consisting of three people, a certain Jarosz, the manager of the Liegenschaft in Bobrka ad Turka n / Str. At the time of the attack, the wife and s/o the deceased were present in the apartment. However, the perpetrators left the deceased's wife and son alone.
