1945 June 25, Żurawica — The telephoneogram of the deputy commander of the MO post in Żurawica, Józef Forst, to the KPMO in Przemyśl about the murder and attack on Ukrainians in Bolestraszyce:
„I report that on the night of April 26 to April 27, 1945, unknown individuals in the number of about 80 people in Soviet, Polish and civilian uniforms carried out a robbery to the detriment of Buben Ivan, a Ukrainian, and several other people living in Bolestraszyce, from whom horses, cows, a cart and clothes were taken. The same perpetrators shot Ivan Buben in their own yard, and then went in an unknown direction. An investigation is underway.
