Orthodox feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Pop Pokrovskyj blessed knives, scythes, sickles and axes in the local church and distributed these „tools to the faithful sons of the Orthodox Church” to murder them „Lachs to the foot of”. On the same day, the murder instruments were used during the slaughter of the Polish population in the Czmykos colony, and a day later in Ostrówki, Wola Ostrowiecka and other towns.
