Murdered gamekeeper Rutkowski with his daughter Stanisława and other people by the Ukrainians brought in after a marriage quarrel provoked by his Ukrainian wife. Among the victims was the forest inspector Stefan Lipiński, 51, pre–war voivodeship, member of the ZWZ–AK during the war. Moreover, the Ukrainians murdered a dozen or so Poles caught in the area when they tried to escape to Kovel. At the end of July, they slaughter several Polish families. Including The Polish woman, nailed to the kitchen door, cut off her breasts and spit the guts out of her womb. Her little son was nailed to the table by his tongue. Another whole family was dismembered. At least 36 Poles died here, their farms were plundered and burned. „During the attack on Świniarzyn, where the Bartoszewskis lived, bandits from the UPA killed their other grandmother, the one on their father's side. – When there was a robbery, she did not have the strength to run away with everyone and they burned her alive – says Andrzej Bartoszewski  […] The Bartoszewski family lost everything – a windmill, 6 hectares of land, all their possessions. But still they were more fortunate than the related family of Lipski millers from Świniarzyn, also like them having a windmill. UPA degenerates nailed Lipska to the kitchen door, and then cut off her breasts. They harassed their little son by nailing his tongue to the” table.
