The Banderites murdered 7 Poles, including a father with 4 children: sons 3 and 5 and daughters 8 and 14; and 2 women, 40 and 43 years old. „Some time later I learned from my neighbors that the entire family of Stanisław Zwierzyniecki – parents and four children – had been abducted. According to the account of my stepmother, Antonina Szczekowska, who lives in Swaryczów, Zwierzyniecki was buried alive in a grove on the Łomnica River near Tuwałów” (Turzyłów was located in the Kaluski county.).
