The owner of the windmill and 5 injured children were thrown into the well. Aleksy Kalińczuk was among the torturers. At the turn of 1943/1944, he raped and shot a Polish woman. After the war, he moved to Kalisz under the assumed name of Jan Wiśniewski. Tried in 1969 in Lublin for crimes against the Jewish and Polish population, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
