On the route Stężnica – Wołkowyja, Lesko county, the UPA murdered Antoni Pasławski. „On July 16, 1946. Antoni P., who was going to Wołkowyja to visit his family, went missing on the route from Stężnica to Wołkowyja. As the area was occupied by Ukrainian nationalist troops, it was presumed that he had died at their hands. The investigation in this case was completed on August 27, 2007 —formally discontinued”.
