The UPA murdered a Polish family of three, including their 19‑year‑old daughter Janina Karpińska into the forest, raped them collectively and threw them into a dry forest well with an open stomach wound, where they died for several days. They also stabbed 40‑year‑old Aniela Gomulińska and her 16‑year‑old daughter Maria with knives.
