Siemaszko et Siemaszko  […] do not mention this village in their book. „While browsing the record books of the Zbaraż parish, I came across the records of the killed Sieniakiewicz family from Kołodno. It appears on your website http://www.stankiewicze.com/ludobojstwo/ in two places, however, the data is incomplete and changed:
– on the list of victims of the province Tarnopolski, as a family from Nowy Rogowiec, the date of the murder and the age of the dead are different
– at the place where readers were registered (according to Father Tadeusz Chrobak's account), as the Sienkiewicz family from Stadarnia near Kołodno.
The names of the wife and children are not given. According to the entry in the Book of Deaths killed on July 9, 1943 in Kołodnie – Siedlisko (ocissus):
1. Wawrzyniec Sieniakiewicz, s/o Józef, 57 years old
2. Michalina Sieniakiewicz, née Oleszczuk, d/o Maksym and Maria Stankiewicz, aged 55
3. Maria Sieniakiewicz, d/o Wawrzyniec and Michalina Oleszczuk, 24 years old
4. Franciszka Sieniakiewicz, d/o Wawrzyniec and Michalina Oleszczuk, aged 22
5. Eugenia Sieniakiewicz, d/o Wawrzyniec and Michalina Oleszczuk, aged 18
6. Katarzyna Sieniakiewicz, d/o Wawrzyniec and Michalina Oleszczuk, aged 16
The entries were made by Fr Krzysztof Polak, the funeral took place on July 12, 1943. It is possible that the family died in the hospital in Zbarazh and hence the death records were placed in the Zbarazh books. Please add this information to the existing
”.
