1945, March 13, Przemyśl — Fragment of the KPMO situation report in Przemyśl for the Poviat Starosty in Przemyśl for the period February 8 — March 12, 1945 about the murder of Ukrainians in Słonem:
Probably the same group attacked the hamlet of the Słone cluster, where 16 people of Ukrainian nationality were shot. In addition, in the area, smaller groups attack individual guards and people of Ukrainian nationality, shooting at those encountered. Polish people are recommended to put inscriptions on the door «This is the Polish family» so that no Pole is killed  […]
In the clusters north of the San, where the Ukrainian population is a minority and where there were cases of attacks by unknown perpetrators against Ukrainian families — Ukrainians massively report to leave.

According to the report of the county Command of the MO in Przemyśl, probably the same group [who carried out the robbery in Costowa] carried out a similar operation in the hamlet of Słonne, where sixteen people of Ukrainian nationality were killed:.
