Once upon a time there was a wedding in the village. After some time, the Bandera followers arrived and scared all the wedding guests. The fun stopped immediately. At that time, they had not killed anyone yet, but on the way they encountered the Groom's family, who unfortunately did not make it to the next part of the ceremony. They were taken to the forest and executed there.

One of my friends, not much older than me, one day came home from a nearby town called the district, and found the Bandera followers in his yard, who had taken his father out of the house. They ordered him to follow them. They both murdered them on the edge of the village.

The Banderites took them to the forest and murdered 6 Poles there: a family of 4 and an older couple (they were: Michał Kalwara, 76, and his wife Józefa, 69). Stanisław Dębiec, born in 1929 in Sidorowo, reports: „Another great persecution began in October 1944. I remember one of my older colleagues, who lived in the neighborhood, came on a pass to baptize his newborn child. As he was walking through the village, he was attacked by the Banderites, who ordered him to take one of the standing carts and go to the next town. There, the Ukrainians tied a family of four and two old people, whose name I still remember – Kalwary. Then they were taken to the woods and brutally murdered. My friend, who was driving the wagon, escaped alive, but he was ordered to remain silent. He was so afraid that he told this story for the first time in the 1960s, when we met in Wrocław […] Once, there was a wedding in the village. After some time, the Bandera followers arrived and scared all the wedding guests. The fun stopped immediately. At that time, they had not killed anyone yet, but on the way they encountered the Groom's family, who unfortunately did not make it to the next part of the ceremony. They were taken to the forest and executed there […] One of my friends, not much older than me, one day came home from a nearby town called the district and found the Bandera followers in his backyard, who had taken his father out of the house. They ordered him to follow them. They both murdered them on the edge of the village […] I also remember that tragic moment when we found the body of a woman murdered by the UPA in our basement. They probably killed her during the night and wanted to hide the body. It turned out that it was our neighbor – Zosia Jankowska. At the same time, my cousin, who was sleeping with her friend one night, barely escaped with her life. In the morning, the Bandera followers burst into the apartment and took out this familiar cousin. Fortunately, but also unfortunately, one of the Banderites said to take only one of them and spare the other's life. Cousin's friend did not come home anymore. They murdered her with the butt of an ax. After many years, my cousin recalled that she was saved by the Mother of God, because at the moment of coming in, she began to pray fervently to her. I also heard about how a pregnant woman was killed and her belly was cut open, from which the unborn child was taken and thrown against a wall. It was an incredible bestiality. If you haven't seen it with your own eyes you might not believe it, but it was all happening. They persecuted and murdered us only because we were Poles! It was definitely the” genocide.
H. Komański et Sz. Siekierka […] state that the Bandera followers murdered 55 people in the village of Sidorów in the years 1943‑1945, he does not mention, for example, Zofia Jankowska.

Sidorów
[The Ukrainians] murdered over 55 Poles, including: a 40‑year‑old woman named Nitka cut out skin patches and salted the wound, then finished it with clubs; 30‑year‑old Władysław Zimerman was stuck in the ears; A 17‑year‑old boy was walled up alive in the basement. They abducted 6 Poles, tied them up with barbed wire and took a cart to an empty Jewish house in the village of Krzyweńkie. They were: Jan Przybyło, Polish Army soldier, who came home on leave; 50‑year‑old Mikołaj Kruk, 69‑year‑old Józefa Kalwara and her 76‑year‑old husband Michał, 60‑year‑old Józef Bonar and his 16‑year‑old son Stanisław. In this house, Jan Przybyla was cut off his head, which he placed on the stove in a cap with an eagle, and ordered the rest of them to parade naked in front of her. Józefa Kalwar cut off her breast and told her husband to suck it. The remaining 4 men had their genitals cut out, and stabbed the bodies with bayonets „I also remember that tragic moment when we found the body of a woman murdered by the UPA in our basement.
