According to W. and E. Siemaszków, the Ukrainian policemen with the Germans murdered 7 Poles during the pacification.

Czesław Piotrowski, in the book Przez Wołyń i Polesie na Podlasie (Warsaw 1998) on p. 29, writes that on August 13, 1943 the Home Army AK unit „Bombs” met a burned village with a plate „Rudnia Kniaźsielska” and a tall oak cross on a high embankment with the inscription: „Here lie 280 bodies of the Polish nation murdered by the German military police”; He also met some of the inhabitants hiding in the forest, behind the swamps.
