Excerpt from Anna Kertyczak's memoirs about the murder of Ukrainians in Wierzbica by soldiers of the Polish Army:
„The Polish Army often attacks the countryside […]
There are two authorities in the village: day and night. We need to listen to both of them […] One of our hosts did not come back from such a daily trip. He was found in the forest near Ruda Żurawicka, the cart and the horses are gone”.
