Rosochowaciec
The Banderites murdered 10 Poles. „In the fall of 1944, Fr Mirecki was sentenced to death by the UPA. When in December this year he went to the sick in the village of Rosochowaciec, belonging to the parish in Podwoloczyska, at night the Bandera followers attacked the house where he was staying. The UPA set fire to the building, forcing the Poles staying in it to flee. They opened fire on the escapees with machine guns, killing about 10 people. Fr Bronisław survived the house burned down because he hid in a basement flooded with water. He turned completely gray that night. The next day, he was found unconscious in the snow” nearby.
